Beautiful and well, kept grounds. Lovely Victorian country house with original features. Comfortable and welcoming public areas. Spotlessly clean and well, equipped room. High quality bathroom fittings with excellent bath and shower. Well, stocked and reasonably priced bar. Blissfully quiet at night.

Restricted dining and bar timings. Limited space in the bar for non, diners.

The location of the hotel is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the surrounding fields. the rooms are well equipped, comfortable, and clean, offering a peaceful and relaxing stay. the staff are friendly, welcoming, and provide attentive service. the food at the hotel is of exceptional quality and the menu offers a great choice of options. the hotel grounds are well maintained and the decor throughout the hotel is pleasing.

The tables for two by the window in the dining area are a bit too close together, which can limit private conversations.

We were blown away by the comfortable and spacious suite, perfect for a great night's sleep. the room was beautifully decorated and had lovely dark curtains, providing a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. the hotel is located in a charming woodland area, which is ideal for young children to run around and explore. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Parking was convenient and the entire place was spotlessly clean. Plus, it's just a short 15-minute drive to the coast for a scenic walk along the seafront.

Felt so relaxed, couldn't find anything to complain about.

The value for money at this hotel was great, and our room was lovely with a beautiful free-standing bath. The location was perfect, and the staff were professional, polite, and friendly, even packing us a bacon sandwich to take away. a very relaxed stay and we will definitely be back in the summer months.

The breakfast menu could have been improved with a wider variety.

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely country house hotel. the location was perfect - a peaceful rural setting but still convenient for exploring the nearby Scarborough area. the hotel itself was full of character, with beautiful grounds and easy parking. My room, number 19, was fantastic with a nice garden view and a large, comfortable bed. the shower and bath were both excellent. the hotel's evening meals were outstanding, with a changing menu that offered great value. the staff provided excellent service, being efficient and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when I'm in the area. Cons: Nothing, all was excellent! 👌.

A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Service

During our stay at The Wrea Head Hall, we accidentally stumbled upon this hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and made to feel like family. The attention to detail and level of service provided by the staff was truly exceptional.

One small disappointment was the limited lunch options upon arrival, but the cream tea they offered was a delightful alternative. The only other minor drawback was the lack of available drinks at the bar, which we were not aware of beforehand.
